The West Michigan Science & Technology Initiative Thanks its Outstanding Network of Entrepreneurs

Grand Rapids, Mich., April 1, 2010 --  On Tuesday, March 30th The Extreme Entrepreneurship Tour rocked Grand Rapids. Over 300 students attended the powerful half day workshop held at DeVos Place. The Initiative called on successful entrepreneurs to add value to The Tour. Nearly 30 volunteers answered that call. Outstanding entrepreneurs shared their passion and insight while working directly with local students at the event.

The Extreme Entrepreneurship Tour is widely recognized as a premier entrepreneurial workshop for young people. The tour is comprised of many of America's top young entrepreneurs. The Tour's vision is that all college students graduate with entrepreneurial mindsets.

The Initiative would like to thank everyone who played a part in making The Extreme Entrepreneurship Tour a success. Area entrepreneurs and Resource Alleyway members (a collection of organizations who provide resources for burgeoning entrepreneurs)  engaged with students to transform their entrepreneurial dreams into action.

Thank you to area sponsors: The Michigan Economic Development Corporation, Grand Valley State University's Center for Entrepreneurship & Innovation and The Collegiate Entrepreneurs Network. The Initiative is proud to be connected to so many generous individuals and organizations who make this community  a great place to get down to business!

Entrepreneurs interested in volunteering at future events may contact Ryan Vaughn at Grand Valley State University's Center for Entrepreneurship & Innovation at 616-331-7257.
