Programs of the Initiative

The Initiative provides a number of programs and services to aid in bringing novel life science and high-technology products and ideas to market. In addition, the Initiative offers a variety of collaborative opportunities for area organizations, companies and individuals to become engaged in the commercialization process at many points along the continuum.

The following programs are designed to help entrepreneurs, inventors and businesses convert there intellectual property, discoveries and inventions into new products, processes, applications or services:

Idea Cycle: Idea Cycle provides the commercialization infrastructure necessary to effectively mine, assess, protect and develop novel life science product ideas in West Michigan.

West Michigan Medical Device Consortium (WMMDC): The WMMDC provides regional medical device companies the opportunity to collaborate and promote their expertise in the medical device industry.

Entrepreneurs Anonymous: Entrepreneurs Anonymous is an entrepreneur-to-entrepreneur invitation-only organization comprised of West Michigan's top entrepreneurial minds.
