West Michigan Medical Device Consortium
In 2007, the Initiative established the West Michigan Medical Device Consortium (WMMDC) to give regional medical device companies the opportunity to collaborate and promote their expertise in the medical device industry-from concept design through manufacturing and distribution. The consortium builds collaboration around core competencies, creates opportunities to leverage those competencies, and ultimately strengthens the top and bottom line for its members. The WMMDC mission is "profitable business growth."
The WMMDC is comprised of more than 35 companies throughout West Michigan and connects through quarterly business and networking meetings to discuss new product ideas, industry trends, collaborate on new business opportunities and other revenue-enhancing opportunities.
